All wii wads3/9/2024 ![]() ![]() ![]() If you don't know the titleID of your WADs, you can use a tool, like ShowMiiWads, to get the ID. Then, you compare that folder's titleID against your Wad's titleID. You can get the TitleID of the installed titles with AnyTitleDeleter, or BlueDumpMod, or ftpii and look at the folder's name (you'll need to convert the title's from HEX to ASCII). These "TitleID High" (parent folder inside "title/") are used by the Wii:Ġ0000001 System files (IOS, system menu, MIOS, BC)Ġ0010001 Normal Channels (WiiWare, Virtual consoles, forwarders, etc.)Ġ0010002 System channels (Mii, Photo, Vote, Weather, etc.)Ġ0010004 Games channels originated from disc based game (Mario kart, WiiFit, Rabbids, etc.)Ġ0010008 Hidden Channels (EULA, region select, DVDX) Titles can be installed in different folders. The folder's name where the files are stored is the "TitleID Low", which is what you know as "4 digit TitleID" of a channel, or the Slot number for IOS. there's no backup of the wad filename, or the original wad file kept internally, you get only extracted files in a folder. when installing, it extracts the files to the NAND. There are multiple choices, most are explained above already. Is there something in Any Title Deleter that shows the wad file name as it appears on my sd card? You say Any Title Deleter will show me what wads are installed, but ive only used that app once, and if i remember it only showed me ticket numbers.īut again, that was a long time ago, i only used it once. Now, i want to mod a friends Wii, but dont want the hassle of figuring out which wad works and which one doesnt. The reason being, is because the first wad for a single emulator didnt work, so i grabbed up a bunch a loooooong time ago and installed, tested, deleted, installed another and so forth until i found a working wad for each emulator. In my wads folder, I have 3 feugx wads, 3 genplusgx wads, 4 neogeo wads, 2 snes9gx wads and so on. I just want to know which ones are the ones, that if i wanted to mod another Wii to be an exact replica of the one Im using now, I would need to use. I know you can install to NAND or emuNAND. I know how wads work, i know you can delete them from sd card. ![]() I think you are misinterpreting what I'm saying. ![]()
